WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date "Great White" Sea-Dweller, ref 1665, circa 1977, 42mm including crown guards x 47mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case with faceted lugs and helium escape valve inset at 9 on side of case, knurled bi-directional dive bezel with original faded insert, stainless steel Oyster bracelet with tuna can style clasp and diver's extension, original black MK1 matte dial with tritium painted luminous indices, date aperture at 3, 26J cal 1570, s#5389723, triple signed with signed clasp, bracelet ref 93150 with 585 end links, inside back ref 1665. Includes the original inner and outer boxes as well as all the original matching punched paperwork which also has the original paper 1665 label stuck to it; also included is the original Sea-Dweller anchor. Outer box has original paper 1665 label and black sticker for dial color.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, very light oxide to rotor edge, no oxide elsewhere, very light fine scratches; flawless dial with evenly aged lemon yellow luminous paint; mint matching Mercedes hands with very light surface spotting; lightly polished case shows light wear, retains most of its original factory finishing, lug chamfers are crisp and visible, light dings on the backs of the lugs as well as leading edge of top right lug; bracelet shows very little wear, very light stretch; original signed crown shows hardly any wear, good threads; excellent plastic high dome crystal; inner and outer boxes show very little wear.
